Yörük Kurtaran

Kurtaran worked at TESEV, Willows Foundation, TUSIAD, Community Volunteers Foundation and Istanbul Bilgi University Civil Society Studies Center, respectively. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV), Anadolu Kültür and Ali İsmail Korkmaz Foundation. He gave undergraduate and graduate courses on youth politics, civil society theory and the history of video games at Istanbul Bilgi University, and published research and books on youth and youth policies. He is one of the founders of the Support Foundation for Civil Society, established in Istanbul to provide grant support to NGOs and contribute to the development of donor culture, and Turkey Mozaik Foundation, established in London. His current interests include philanthropy, technology and youth policy. He still provides support to various international non-governmental organizations' programs in Turkey as a consultant.
